Training platform on social entrepreneurship
The training platform on social entrepreneurship is active and we provide access of young people as well as other people and organizations interested in social entrepreneurship. Some of the modules are used in a training on entrepreneurship for disadvantaged people, delivered by BIGD in 2021. The e-learning platform will be active and will provide access to knowledge to other motivated learners with interest in social entrepreneurship.

Within the project "Self-employment 2022" through the Foundation for Development of Small and Medium Enterprises - Strumica in the East and Southeast, 287 unemployed people established their own companies or started their own business, 9 of them are from the group of people with disabilities.

Building of an ecosystem for social entrepreneurship
The building of an ecosystem for social entrepreneurship, the training platform, the active involvement of all the stakeholders, the partnership and the results of the project SEED were presented as a good practice at an international conference organized by FACLIA, Moldova.

Flower City
The municipal social enterprise "Flower City" Gotse Delchev, a participant in the project, takes advantage of the ideas for marketing strategy proposed by the participants in the project and has impressive results. The team of BI-DG encouraged the social enterprise to participate in a competition of the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy for social innovation for employment and was among the awarded social enterprises in Bulgaria - 3rd place and the only municipal social enterprise among the nominees for awards. Our team supported the application process and the presentation.

Ecosystem Development - SEED
Social business idea
The social business idea for the very interesting village of Gabrene in Belasitsa with unusual traditional dishes and many active grandmothers is being developed very successfully by the team from the vocational school PGIT "Assen Zlatarov", Petrich. After the trainings, mentoring and good presentation during the First Cross-Border Marketplace for Social Entrepreneurship under the project, the team of Business Incubator-Gotse Delchev continued with consulting and mentoring for implementation of the idea step by step. The team won 4th place in the National competition "Young Benefactor" and a cash prize of BGN 1,000 to buy a refrigerator and support the women of Gabrene in preparing traditional dishes. We encouraged them to participate in Rinker's competition for financing a business idea and they were the only student team among the 5 finalists of small businesses that have already started. The team is constantly upgrading and developing the idea and promoting sustainable rural tourism and Gabrene dishes. They are preparing a wonderful program for unforgettable experiences in Gabrene - a demo version of the social enterprise in 14-15 May 2022. They want to test the business model in practice and apply the acquired skills.

Best idea of the Social Entrepreneurial Marketplace
The best idea of the Social Entrepreneurial Marketplace of a student from the Peyo Yavorov Vocational High School, Gotse Delchev for Live Agro Library continues to be developed and improved. It was presented and won 4th place and a tablet at the National Competition Innovative Young Farmer, and it was also awarded among 100 business ideas of students from high schools and universities at the national level and the grand prize will be presented on 13.05.2022 in Burgas.
